  2. Always loved this band and Spanaway is one of my fave. alternative rock albums. Don't think this is quite as good as that but is still a fine album. For those who like their music loud, melodic and with grungey/punky textures this is a fine album to listen to. Includes one of my fave Seaweed songs, Bill. Love Aaron Stauffer's voice/5(6).

  7. About Seaweed. A harder, faster, punker Screaming Trees, Seaweed's Sub Pop recordings were textbook Grunge. Screamy vocals, heavy guitar sonics -- right down to the flannel shirts they wore in their videos, this band had it down. Subsequent releases saw the band staying pretty much true to form, sounding just a bit mellower and more melodic.
  8. About File Formats. MP3 is a digital audio format without digital rights management (DRM) technology. Because our MP3s have no DRM, you can play it on any device that supports MP3, even on your iPod!
  9. Seaweed Seaweed formed out of the fertile northwest punk scene of the mid- to late-’80s in Tacoma and Olympia, WA. Aaron Stauffer and his best bud since fourth grade, Clint Werner (guitar), were going to all-ages shows featuring the likes of Fugazi, Dag Nasty, Bad Brains, and 7 Seconds. It was a great time to be a young punk rocker, and the two gleefully found themselves caught up in the DIY.
